UPSC CMS 2018 Notification released on upsc.gov.in; Eligibility, dates, how to apply on upsconline.nic.in here

New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission, UPSC has released the notification for Combined Medical Services, CMS Examinations 2018. The notification was released by the commission on May 2 and is now available on the official website upsc.gov.in. Interested candidates can fill the online applications before May 25 on upsconline.nic.in. Eligibility, details of vacancy, important dates and how to apply are provided here. A total of 454 posts would be filled by means of the CMSE 2018.

Please note that the eligibility, dates and other instructions provided below are only indicative of general category. All the candidates are advised to go through the official notification of UPSC CMSE 2018 before filling the online application form. The examination is scheduled for July 22, 2018. 

Eligibility Criteria for CMS Exam 2018

Indian nationals less than 32 years of age as on August 1, 2018 are eligible to apply for the examination. Please note, the relaxation in the age limit as applicable to the reserved categories is also applicable as per Government of India rules. Candidates are advised to go through the official notificationto check the same before apply.

As for the educational qualification, all candidates are required to have passed the written and practical parts of the MBBS Examination. Candidates who are appearing in final examination of their MBBS course may also apply. Their admission, however, would be only provisional – provided they pass their MBBS examination before joining CMS.
